I have been seeing Mara for over three years. Mara continues to help me work through my complex childhood trauma and codependency. She took the time to understand my specific situation and built a unique treatment plan to address my needs. Using IFS, alongside other tools, Mara has helped me regulate and learn to express my true emotions. Mara is an excellent professional and approaches her work with the utmost care and compassion.

Our son was diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum when he was a Freshman in High School. Mara assisted in advocating for our child to get him the accommodations he needed. She worked with our son to prepare him for college, the rigor of academics, social and emotional challenges, and the ability for him to advocate for himself. Mara helped our family understand what Autism Spectrum means in setting realistic goals and expectations and understanding one another.

"Mara, in the short time she has spent with my daughter helping her cope with some of the stressors in our family system. She has really gotten her to accept its ok to feel her feelings and express them to a safe caring person. My daughter realizes that we all are entitled to our emotions.

"I was looking for therapy for my son on Google, looked at a lot of profiles but Mara stood out, called her and told her my situation and she started therapy right away, not just for my son, but for me, it was quite a experience, she was easy to talk to,made me feel comfortable ,through the course of time she's worked with my whole family, she's very supportive, always willing to listen and offer addtl resources, she's brought my family a long way ,and I know that she doesn't realize the affect she's had on my family, and I’m glad I found her! She's truly authentic and has real passion for what she does." Thanks Mara

I found Mara to be an intelligent, conscious, and creative therapist. She also went beyond the call of duty in working with families, teachers and school administrators. In terms of student and family advocacy, none of her coworkers could match her energy and diligence.
